M B Metal India is a prominent supplier and exporter of 17-4 PH Round Bar, offering unmatched strength, corrosion resistance, and hardness in demanding engineering applications. Known for its precipitation-hardening characteristics, 17-4 PH stainless steel combines the corrosion resistance of stainless steel with the strength of high-grade alloys. It is widely used in aerospace, marine, chemical processing, nuclear, and petroleum industries where precision and performance matter.
What is 17-4 PH Round Bar?17-4 PH (UNS S17400) is a chromium-nickel-copper precipitation-hardening stainless steel. The PH (Precipitation Hardening) process gives this alloy excellent mechanical properties and dimensional stability even after heat treatment. 17-4 PH round bars are typically supplied in Condition A (annealed) but can be heat-treated to other conditions like H900, H1025, or H1150 to achieve desired hardness and tensile strength.
Applications of 17-4 PH Round BarDue to its exceptional mechanical and corrosion-resistant properties, 17-4 PH round bar is widely used in:
-
Aerospace Components: Shafts, turbine blades, fasteners
-
Oil & Gas Industry: Valve parts, pump shafts, downhole tools
-
