Inconel 601 Filler Wire Chemical CompositionINCONEL 601 Filler Wire is composed of a nickel-base superalloy with high chromium content, making it highly resistant to oxidation and corrosion. In addition, the material also contains other elements such as iron, niobium, manganese, aluminium, titanium and cobalt. This combination of elements gives the alloy excellent mechanical strength and high formability for various applications. Its high resistance to wear makes INCONEL 601 Filler Wire wire suitable for machining applications as well. Furthermore, its excellent ductility allows the material to be easily formed into pipes and other shapes without any difficulty.
The chemical composition of INCONEL 601 Filler Wire wire varies slightly depending on the application requirements but typically includes 56-60% nickel, 16-21% chromium, 1-1.7% manganese, 0.5% aluminium and 8-10% iron.
