Nimonic 90 Plate is a precipitation-hardenable nickel-chromium-cobalt alloy having high stress-rupture strength and creep resistance at temperatures to about 1700°F (920°C). Because of good resistance to high-temperature corrosion and oxidation. Alloy 90 Plate became the prime choice of Oil & Gas Extraction and Processing, Nuclear, Aerospace, Power Generation and Automotive, gas turbines, hot-working tools, and springs applications and It is widely used and a well proven alloy in high temperature conditions. The Density of Nimonic 90 Sheet is 0.296 lb/in3, (8.18 g/cm3). Nimonic 90 Coil can be forged between 2100 and 1850ºF (1150 and 1010ºC) after which process it may be air cooled or water quenched, depending upon the size and intricacy of the forged part of Nimonic 90 Clad Plate. Nimonic 90 Shim from Special Metals is a NIMONIC ® alloy, available in the following form including Nimonic 90 Rolling Sheets, Nimonic 90 Flat Sheet, Nimonic Alloy 90 Plate, Nimonic 90 Rolling Plate and Nimonic 90 Flat Shim.
